What if there was another way? 〰️
WHAT IF the New Year was not about resolutions, but an opportunity to catch your breath and get grounded?
Together we’ll work on mapping our own paths forward into the New Year—and beyond! All while having some fun along the way, and with the power of the collective.
Set yourself up for success—as defined by YOU–so that you’re able to make things happen in a way that is as fun as possible, and feels true to you, NOT dictated by society’s standards.
WHAT IF fun was a pre-requisite and anything was possible?!
Mapping Your Path into 2023
3-month workshop + community
Oct 2022 – Jan 2023
It all kicks off Oct 7th!
The past couple years have been a test of the collective consciousness. The world feels on fire—both literally and figuratively. Perhaps circus is a better descriptor. Basic human rights are no longer a given and the curtains of inequities have been unmasked.
On top of the never-ending, exhausting news cycle, we all have faced our own personal tests psychologically, physically, and relationally. We’ve learned to question everything including what we’re doing in the world. It’s easy to feel hopeless at times when there is so much out of our control.
It’s almost as if the universe wanted us to hit a collective reset and ask:
What are our priorities?
How do we want to be spending our time?
Who do we want to be spending our time with?
Where do we want to be?
What do I actually want moving forward?
What am I doing to support myself?
You create the map for your future. Unlock the magic within you.
Mapping Your Path into 2023 will set you up for success in the new year—and beyond! It will take you places you never imagined and along the way you’ll meet incredible humans around the world. Be prepared to be inspired in ways you never expected. Friendships and collaborations have been formed in MYP too. All it takes is being open to the possibilities.
Get lost. Detours are welcome, roadblocks are inevitable, and you can keep going anyway—whatever speed works for you. So much of life is acknowledging that multiple things can be true at once, and we can keep going anyway (or take a pause and pick up again).
You’re no longer following the blue dot on your phone to tell you where to go. You’re learning to break out of societal programming, scripts, and expectations to trust your inner guidance system.
You’ll be accompanied along the way as we develop a guiding force (word or theme) that will take you into the New Year. You’ll be able to tap into the power of the collective as we navigate a new way forward.
We’ll use the last three months of 2022 to find a finishing focus to close out the year in a way that will support you. You can use this space to practice. You’ll leave with new tools, your own map forward, and a guidebook to keep you anchored no matter what comes your way.
Think: Playground of possibilities + exploration
By the end of our 3 months together you’ll have:
A renewed sense of direction, clarity and focus, and calm and inner peace
A renewed sense of self and the journey you’re on; a sense of connection to yourself + to others
A renewed sense of creativity and energy to carry into your life and work
A realization that sometimes slowing down is how you go further, faster and that more isn’t necessarily better; that you’re in it for the long game and not instant gratification
The feeling that you’re part of something bigger, and you are not alone—there are others who can relate
A feeling of inspiration, fulfillment, and new confidence to carry forward
Permission to explore, experiment, and try new things
Reminders to invite joy into your life and to have fun!
What this is NOT:
Another thing to sign up for and feel behind on
A backlog of videos to watch
More worksheets and homework
Baby-sitting and hand-holding
What this IS:
Small steps in the right direction
Taking imperfect, aligned action toward your future
Connecting with yourself + with others
Reprioritizing YOU over the stress + distractions of life + work (this can even mean 5 min a day!)
Re-writing old stories + getting out of your own way. (It’s never too late to start!)
Support and guidance when you feel stuck or blocked
A judgment-free zone where you can show up for yourself, as yourself
A celebration of the progress you have made + accomplishments achieved
Learning from + being inspired by others + their experiences to propel us forward
Being open to different ways of doing things, integrating more creativity + play
Investing in yourself and your future (because you deserve it!!!)
This experience is designed for people with real/busy lives. Participants are actively encouraged to show up imperfectly. Participate in the MYP components that resonate with you and leave the rest. You don’t have to do it all to make a big impact. You don’t have it all figured out. When we take the pressure off, that’s when the magic can happen.
Follow your curiosity.
The journey is the destination.
ANYTHING is possible.
(Yes, even in 3-months! The secret is in the small steps. They all add up!)
THE MYP SECRET SAUCE
Anne is not only your workshop facilitator, but also an active participant. There’s no set formula. You get to decide what level of involvement, and what kind of experience you want. Even doing the minimum can translate into big results.
+ There’s power in the collective. Each round of MYP is a combo of Anne’s creative exercises inspired by her design mind + the collective energy of the group = MAGIC will happen!
+ Get direct feedback + support + cheerleading from Anne and others in the community space. This can be anything from diving deeper into workshop exercises or brainstorming about something that you are cooking up/noodling about. There’s no quota on the support you can receive.
+ Monthly connection calls with Anne and 5-6 other mappers allow you to go deeper and develop personal connections with others. You truly never know what magic may surface during these hour-long calls.
+ Get a peek into Anne’s brain, what she’s working on, thinking about, and dreaming up through weekly check-ins + workshop inspiration + on small group Connection Calls. Anne will also be your Chief Dot Connector connecting you to others in the cohort as well as “prescribing” the perfect resource or tool you may need in this moment.
Go for a wander on Anne’s 2022 “The Magic within You” map! (This was created inside MYP with support and inspiration from the community.)
Small steps add up.
THE BREAKDOWN:
Month 1: CELEBRATING HOW FAR WE’VE COME
Month 2: GUIDEBOOK FOR LIFE
Month 3: GUIDING FORCE + MAPPING FORWARD
We’ll break out the creative juices during workshops and reflection sessions. All you need is to bring yourself, some paper, a journal, and your favorite pens/marker/colored pencils, and the rest will flow. There is time during the calls to do the exercises. It’s up to you how much additional exploration you want to do.
We’ll keep zooming in and out and revisiting exercises as you build your toolkit, so if you miss a session it’s not the end of the world. Just keep going! We’re going for progress, not perfection.
WHAT YOU’LL WALK AWAY WITH:
Exploratory maps
New exercises for your personal toolkit
Your own mini guidebook to refer to when things go off course
A word, theme, or mantra to carry you forward (your guiding force)
New friends + support system
A new, empowered mindset!
No artistic experience is required. No two maps are the same. A bit of curiosity will take you far! You’ll be guided every step of the way.
Who joins Mapping Your Path?
Participants in Mapping Your Path come from a wide range of industries: creative/arts, architecture, fashion, healthcare, sustainability, coaching, writing, nutrition, education, marketing, politics/public service, tech, financial services, consulting, self-employed, caregiving, retirement, and more. Community members are so much more than their job. Connections across industries, ages/generations, and locations allow for a unique cross-pollination in the space.
The community is composed of warm-hearted humans from all over the world: US (including South Dakota!), Canada, Mexico, Brazil, South Africa, Scotland, England, France, Finland, Spain, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Australia, India, Singapore, the Philippines, and more. Those who join MYP bring rich, diverse perspectives to the group.
Here are a few profiles you may encounter in the MYP community:
Everyone in MYP is on their own unique journey which invites a spirit of celebration and cheering each other on rather than one of competition (think Shine Theory!). We all get to learn from each other in order to see what’s possible. The one thing you can expect is to be inspired in ways you never expected!
You don’t have to take my word for it…
How we gather:
This 3-month workshop + community isn’t anything you learned or experienced in school. It’s not like other online programs either. Come for the fun, leave with so much more.
It’s unlearning and re-writing of a lot of what you thought you knew, focusing on following your own inner compass, and inviting in creative exploration as you set yourself up for a year like none other. You’ll be guided every step of the way.
The entire experience is designed to work within your life and not feel like a big commitment. MYPers look forward to carving out the time for our gatherings. It feels more like play than work.
WARNING: Don’t get fixated on dates! Replays can be watched on your own time. Those who aren’t able to join the workshops and reflection sessions live still get immense value and connection out of MYP through the community. In fact, many people prefer the ability to pause and take more time with the material and exercises. You will be able to watch the replays whenever you want, and as many times as you want, even after the 3 months are over.
Monthly workshops with creative exercises (1.5 hr)
The first Friday of each month* there will be a live workshop, which will be recorded for those who can’t join live. Each month we’ll explore mapping-inspired exercises as well as journal prompts. No need to prepare—JUST SHOW UP! During the workshops, you’ll have time to complete the exercises so that they’re not one more thing on your plate.
Dates: FRIDAYS – Oct 7, Nov 4, Dec 2
Monthly reflection sessions (1.5 hr)
Two weeks after the live workshop we’ll have a reflection session to build on the exercises explored, along with one new exercise. This is an intentional time to reflect on the work we’re doing and paths we’re on. These sessions will meet on Thursdays* on Zoom.
Dates: THURSDAYS – Oct 20, Nov 17, Dec 15
Monthly [magic] Connection Calls (1 hr)
Once a month there will be an opportunity to hop on “connection calls” which are typically the 3rd week of the month. These mini group calls of 5 to 6 community members + Anne are informal conversations where everyone is invited to talk through any exercises, ask for feedback, or look for support on anything they’re working on or going through in life.
Dates/times will vary throughout the ~3rd week of the month. Efforts will be made for everyone who wants to join a connection call to join regardless of where you are in the world. Trust me when I say these calls can be MAGIC and are always a highlight for past MYPers.
MYP Community (ongoing for 3 months)
For connection between sessions, we’ll have a private Slack community for weekly check-ins, resource sharing, working through exercises, noodling on ideas, chatting through the latest big thing, and providing support for anything you’re thinking about. There is no pressure to be connected all the time (or at all), but for many people their biggest growth happens here through “thinking out loud” with the support of the INCREDIBLE community of humans that MYP attracts.
Wrap up call
After the holidays we’ll regroup and get back on track with a wrap-up call in mid-January to ensure we keep the momentum and energy going into the New Year.
Dates: FRIDAY – Jan 13
It’s totally understandable that you’ll likely want to take a pause and disconnect around the holidays—or even throughout the 3 months. Rest assured, pauses are essential—and encouraged—throughout this discovery journey.
* Workshops take place on the first Friday of the month and reflection sessions are on the 3rd Thursday (two weeks later). Workshops and reflection sessions will take place from 5-6:30pm CET/Paris (11am-12:30pm EST) on Zoom. Warning: do not let the timing of the workshops be what holds you back from signing up and making the change you so desire. There is no such thing as perfect timing. Everything is recorded. You can even connect with others in the group to watch replays together.
Goal: Remove overwhelm, NOT add more to your to do list.

FAQ
-
The fall version of MYP “Into the New Year” (Oct–Jan) has a focus on figuring out how we want to finish the current year, and go into the New Year with intention. The main focus is developing a “guiding force” (word/phrase) and creating a map for the year ahead.
The spring version of MYP (Feb–April) has a very similar spirit, and is more about unlocking our best selves and our secret sauce.
Both versions have different creative exercises that complement each other and connect to larger themes. From year to year, the overall workshop themes are the same, however, there may be new exercises introduced as MYP continues to evolve.
People join MYP during different cycles, and there is no one way/place to start.
Many people come back for new MYP cohorts to take advantage of the community and meet new people. (There are people who have joined MYP for all 6 cohorts if that says anything!).
If you’re interested in joining both versions of MYP, you can sign up for both versions now for the deepest discount. -
The best part of Mapping Your Path into the New Year is that it’s specific to the year ahead. Every year is different, and we can’t always know what’s ahead, but we can be intentional about how we go into it.
There is a significant percentage of returning MYPers who return for more. Some have been around since the beginning, and others have taken a cycle or two off and come back. There’s no one/right way to do this. Just know you’re always welcome back :)
Every round I continue to refine the offer, invite in new inspiration, explore new ideas and exercises, and of course there’s a new community dynamic to look forward to.
Sometimes an idea or concept won’t resonate the first time around, but through reinforcement and continued practice something starts to click. We’ll do many of the same activities that we’ve done in the past, but you’ll go into them with another year worth of experience under your belt. You may even find yourself responding to them in a completely different way than last year’s you.
I see MYP as a living experience so I’m always adapting exercises and integrating new ideas and material inspired by the times and members of the group. (New people = new ideas + inspiration!)
As the creator of this experience, I have to say it is thrilling and inspiring to watch the arc of MYPers on their journey. So much magic can happen along the journey, and the best part is having the community to cheer you on.
I always learn as much from MYP community members as I hope you learn from me, and I am eternally grateful for that!

Yes!
Every workshop and reflection session is recorded so you can watch on your own time. Some people even enjoy the fact that they can pause while they watch so they can spend more time with the exercises.
Even with participants spread throughout the globe, the Slack community is a great way to connect with other community members asynchronously. We’ve had multiple people join from Australia and Asia in the past and even though they couldn’t join the live calls, every month I made sure there was a time she could meet others during the “connection calls” (mini groups with 5-6 other MYPers).
Sometimes people have work or other commitments that keep them from joining live workshops, but the same response as above applies. There are different elements that makeup MYP, and different components are going to resonate with people differently. The goal is that you can find a way that makes it work for you.

I choose to use Slack for the community because it keeps the vibe fun, casual, and conversation (and us off of Facebook). Some people who have used Slack for work or other uses have said the way I use Slack is not like any other experience they’ve had before (that’s a good thing!).
If you’ve never used Slack before, don’t worry, I’ll be onboarding everyone and sending a short how-to video. Like many things in life, oftentimes the best way to approach things is to learn by doing.
You can download the app or open it in a browser tab. It’s up to you if you keep alerts. (I’ll send you email reminders for key things). Many people use Slack at work already, so I realize that checking Slack can get overwhelming. Heads up that you do not have to read all of the messages posted, or respond to anything. But you can expect a response from me (Anne). I’m happy to share resources, give feedback, support however I can.
My basic rule is that you need to share it on a public channel and I’ll be more than happy to respond and exchange with you (you may get some awesome other feedback too!).
Some MYPers never log onto Slack and still get a ton out of the experience. People have different needs in different seasons of their life. I encourage/nudge people to engage and share to help you get out of your way. It’s up to you to decide what feels right for you. -
I never want anyone to feel like they are beyond their financial means to join this group. Note that there is a 3-month and 5-month payment plan option available as well to help make it more accessible.
I want to encourage you to think about how you can look at MYP as an INVESTMENT in yourself. The first time I invested in a coach it was terrifying and felt like a lot of money. It turns out it was the step I needed to start taking my business more seriously. It was the nudge, jolt, and support I needed at that time. Many coaching programs of this caliber cost thousands of dollars with less access to the leader. However, I do encourage you to look to see if there is anywhere in your life you can save money (do you really need all those subscriptions?), and see if you can find a way to make it work.
I can assure you I’ve witnessed so many transformations from people who join the group even though it feels daunting. The ultimate goal through MYP is that you will make shifts in your life through MYP that will set you up for future success.
The other perk is that once you sign up for MYP you get discounts to other offers including a deep discount to future MYP cohorts.
-
I fully believe in the power of the collective.
Currently, 1:1 coaching is only available to people who have participated in MYP. They also get discounted 1:1 coaching calls when participating in the current cohort. -
I fully expect people to have other things going on, that’s why I designed MYP the way I did—the essentials.
The workshops and reflection sessions are 1.5 hours, and mini group connection calls are 1 hour, in total 4 hours a month.
Time invested in the Slack community should be whatever feels right for you. You don’t need to feel guilty if you can’t check it all the time or read every message.
We all tend to tell ourselves stories about how we need to “make the most of my investment” or, “I need to get my money’s worth.” Insights and learnings can happen in many different forms. If you’re in a slow period of life you may find yourself dipping into the community daily. If you have a full schedule and would like to participate in the community, I recommend scheduling time every week on your calendar so you can check-in.
You don’t have to be the perfect student or top of the class to get a ton out of the experience. It’s a great time/place/space to experiment!
Often times you may open the Slack community and see a post or resource that is just what you needed to see that day (you take it from there and run). Other times posts may not resonate with you, which is fine—take what works for you, and ignore the rest. YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO IT ALL!
Still have questions?
I’m here to help! Shoot me an email at hello@anneditmeyer.com or send me DM on social media (I’m slower to respond there).
I’m happy to answer any questions you may have, or help you decide if this is the right fit for you right now. Seriously, don’t be shy. I promise I won’t bite :)
No matter how “together” we are, we don’t have to do it alone. There will be curveballs, and there is so much inspiration when you take advantage of the “hive mind” of this community. Ask questions, get feedback, noodle ideas, it’s all fair game!
