Mapping Your Path: Finding Direction
Mapping Your Path: Finding Direction is my 3-month workshop and community designed to get you on the path you are excited about and want to be on, while removing the stress, supposed to’s, and overwhelm along the journey. This is your permission to explore, be creative and see what really is possible and bring your ideas to life.
Everyone who joins Mapping Your Path is on a different journey, and entering from a different place in life. This takes away any sense of competition, instead creating a community of learning, support, and growth. It’s not about speed, or doing more. It’s about finding clarity and a pace that works for you. It’s about finding the path that feels right for you. Detours, pauses, and pivots are welcome, and encouraged. You will have permission to explore and get lost along the way.
I’ve witnessed first hand incredible transformations in just three months. (Warning: those transformations aren’t always what you come into the workshop thinking they may be. The spirit of open exploration allow for possibilities and paths you never may have considered. And there’s something special that happens when you do it in the company of others who are also working to follow the paths they really want to be on.
Past participants have included designers, architects, entrepreneurs (all stages), senior leadership, executive assistants, administrators, photographers, graduate students, marketing managers, communications & PR experts, instructional designers, facilitators, journalists, writers, art historians, entrepreneurs, small business owners, and more.
Here are some reasons past participants have joined Mapping Your Path. Do any sound like you?
I’m struggling with burnout and feeling generally uninspired. Looking for clarity on what's next for me. Time to focus on myself, my goals, what I want. Having a framework like this workshop, and some accountability is helpful for me! :)
Getting a handle on all my unfinished projects.
I felt that I needed a paradigm shift to how I was approaching life.
I want to have an intentional approach to 2021, and even given uncertainty and change, develop clarity of my main priorities and values for the year. I also want to align how I spend my time and what I'm doing to those priorities and values.
2020 left me feeling very disconnected from ME.
I may want to pivot in my career and want to explore new creative directions.
New job, new city this year, yet I have had a strange year in 2020, so want to approach 2021 in a more structured and strategic fashion.
A need for change.
Realizing that I’m at a transitional time and that this type of thinking will help me be creative and empowered in my next steps.
To find more clarity in my life & in my future plans.
I'm in a time where I have the vision and I'm executing ideas, but I'm still dealing with a chronic illness and I'm really interested in getting laser focused and outlining a map that allows for continued healing.
I love a good fresh start - and have a lot I want to accomplish- more than usual. And I love the idea of accountability and possible new friends.
I'm newly divorced with a brand new life, for the first time in my life I can take any path that I want, and I don't know which path(s) to take.
I feel like I have too many priorities (which negates the purpose of a priority) and I'd like to get get clarity on what mine actually are. Also, I want to be more mindful of how I'm spending my time — both my own time and when I am working.
I'm feeling pretty frayed around the edges, unsteady on my feet as far as where I want/need to direct my energy, and ready to hit the reset button for 2021.
Coming for the community, continuity, momentum, and more Anne!
Further clarity on creating my own path.
Curiosity & challenge!
For the past few months, I have been feeling stuck and unable to decide how to move forward. With a lot of ideas and no concrete decisions made, I know I'm in need of some inspiration and guidance. Not expecting an overnight change, but am looking forward to this journey!
I'm already feeling lost at the moment so I am hoping to get more clarity on what I want for the future and also to meet knew people who are interested in this type of community.
I want to rethink my business, how I spend my time, to make my work more meaningful. I have had a lot of changes in my life the past few years so I feel like it is a good time to sift through and see where I want to go from here.
The need to be more proactive about what I want in my life rather than reacting to situations, which never seems to end how I want.
I was and am inspired by a desire to define and access my potential for more creative and fulfilling work.
There’s no right or wrong way to approach Mapping Your Path. The goal is to help you get the most out of it for YOU. You can put in as much or as little time as you’d like (or have bandwidth for.) The format is designed to help you move forward on your journey in a way that is fun, energizing, and makes you feel lighter and at ease. This is not like anything you’ve ever experienced before.

I put together a list of the top 15 highlights—in no particular order—from past “mappers” to explain the experience in their words:
1. This is unlike any other workshop I have ever done.
2. It truly was one of the most meaningful things I have done for myself (personally and professionally).
3. Mapping Your Path is like a group of friends who are helping you achieve actual goals but also a sense of purpose and meaning.
4. This program really helped me connect the dots between who I am and what I want to be doing.
5. The mini group sessions really helped create deeper connections with people and I’ve loved that.
6. How personally involved Anne is with everything. You don’t see that often.
7. The time was very manageable, especially with the options to review on your own.
8. The community is an extra level of support I know I needed during this time.
9. I loved the energy of the group.
10. It brought magic into my life, and helped me find clarity. I’m exploring my creativity and having fun in the process!
11. I am really just incredibly grateful for feeling energized and engaged in shaping the outcome of my life rather than riding the waves.
12. The connections I’ve made with all the amazing participants are the biggest thing I will carry forward.
13. The idea that there are many different narratives and I can make my own path, I don’t have to follow a preordained one.
14. The permission to slow down.
15. Mapping Your Path has altered my life profoundly.
It all starts February 5th!
